Annual Meeting |
Our annual
meeting will be held on Sat. June 5, 2010 @ the Great
Falls Shrine Club starting @ 4:00 p.m.? This will be
after the first Wildcat Summer Tournament taking place @
Stumpy Pond/Fishing Creek, so anyone choosing to fish
this tournament can do so and attend the meeting
afterward. |

"I don't
think it'll be possible to squeeze another tournament in
@ this point due to time and red tape. This one is just
scratched and we will have to amend the rule: "Pay for 4
and physically fish 3 of those 4" to
"Pay for 4 and physically fish 2 of those 4".
If at this point a team needs to pay for a 4th tourney,
they may send their $ in and will get credit for paying
for the 4th. This money will go into a separate file
and be appropriately applied to the Classic". ~ Melissa |

This is Tonya Fulton, Dereck
Fulton's wife, and we had fish
several tournaments with you guys.
I have a couple of questions for you
if you can help us. I was wondering
how can I send an e-mail out to the
association to ask for any donation
for my 6 years old daughter. She is
in her first pageant and last come
May 2, 2009, and she needs some
sponsors. We really do not know
people like that, the only ones we
deal with are the fishing
association. If you can get back
with me through e-mail, you can
e-mail me at

at 7062108105. They can purchase
ads for a $125, purchase a White
Linen ticket for $35 or give her a
donation of their choice. The
monies must be in to the
organziation on April 28, 2009.

Attention All
Golfers!!! Want to have a great day of golf and help
support a good cause? Join us for our 2nd
Annual Cancer Patient Benefit Golf Tournament, 4-man
Captains Choice on Thursday, August 28, 2008 @ 9:30
a.m. Oh, the fun doesn’t stop here! Complimentary
refreshments will be served by golf cart during the
tournament and after a great game of golf, join us for a
fish fry and some homemade catfish stew while door
prizes, cash and trophies are awarded! For more info,

The 4th Annual SCHP
Survivors tournament will be held on Lake Wateree on
March 22, 2008. Flyers are being distributed and
mailed now. You can also download one
here. This tournament hosted by the
Law
Enforcement Chaplaincy for SC benefits the families
of fallen State Troopers in SC, NC, TN & VA.

Ed Duke has decided that the water levels
at Jordan, N.C. will remain steady enough to continue with
the schedule as is. The tournament set for Nov.3 at
Jordan is still on. |

The
members voted on the following change at the June 16
Meeting: SCA Classic Qualification: Members MUST
sign up for at least 5 regular tournaments and MUST fish
at least three of those 5 tournaments to qualify for the
SCA Classic. |

Ever
seen a "Gold" Crappie? Well here's one! (Click the photo for
a larger view) Glenn
Christie was crappie fishing at Kerr Lake, NC on Dec 14 when he caught
this fish. His fish species was identified by Christian Waters of
the NC Inland Marine Biology group. There has never been a fish caught
in that area like it as far as records go. He has the fish alive in an
aerated tank. |

continue to, begin at 7:00 a.m. Some of the older
weigh-in vouchers still show 6:30 a.m. If you have any
of these vouchers, please mark out "6:30" and change it to
"7:00" |

37lb. flathead catfish...on SIX POUND TEST LINE and an AWD
WOW Crappie Grub. |
