This is only a rumor but it was
reported that the situation in the points race has began to get the team
of Bundrick and Koon scared so they paid someone to blow the engine in
both Ed Duke and Marc Danque's boat, and somehow Mike Frick's boat got
involved in the feud as all three boats blew engines at Wylie this week.
Naw! Just picking because Ray and Randy really like Ed and Mike. But it
was a tough event again as the temperature stayed around freezing and snow
showers lingered most of the day. It was cold enough that some teams said
keep the money we won we are not standing out in this cold to get a check.
The team of Danque and Duke
hung around the buoys at Crowder Creek all day catching craps at various
depths using AWD Crappie Snacks and Charlie Brewer Sliders both in the
bubble-gum and chartreuse colors along with green and yellow Uncle Henry
Slabslayer hair jigs. Second and third place teams of Steen and Castine
and Free and Commalander fished the mouth of Catawba Creek basically all
by themselves all day.
