Blewett Falls December 2003
“Read ‘em and weep!”.
That was all that the father and son team of Brian and Brett Davis had
to say as they made their debut Saturday fishing their first
tournament of the year; having missed the first two events due to
having to get the new Mr. and Mrs. Brett Davis into their new home.
After winning two events last year and the Points Championship, it
seems that these two are taking up where they left off. Using
straight minnows tight lining around standing timber seems to have
been the way to go. Only three one-hundredths behind in second was
the team of Mike Berry and Eddie Werts. This wasn’t a surprise as
every time they landed a good fish, Mike let it be known. Teams as
far down the lake as one mile could hear Mike tell Eddie “I sure hope
they didn’t see us catch this one!”
