Fishing Creek / Stumpy Pond Results
It was hot
and not the best conditions for a crappie tournament, but 48 teams came from
as far as Raleigh and Georgia to test their skills on Fishing Creek with 95
degree weather. Somehow, the team of Parnell and Motley had found fish in
shallow water as little as 5 feet deep. Also, fishing the same spot was the
second place team of Fesperman and Fesperman. Both teams were using Charlie
Brewer SLIDERS and AWD CRAPPIE SNACKS tipped with minnows. Third place was
the father/son team of Babin and Babin fishing brush in 12 foot of water
(this is Nick, I don’t know who told you that lie !).
